Frozen Bolinhos de Bacalhau


Our version of the traditional Portuguese “codfish cakes” made with jackfruit and potato are crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Serve it with lime, it makes a massive difference.

Cooking instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 250oc/gas mark 9.
  • Remove all packaging and place the bolinhos onto a baking tray.
  • Bake them in the centre of the oven for 12 to 14 minutes.
  • Remove them from the oven and wait 2 minutes before serving.
  • Cook from frozen. Once defrosted, don’t freeze again.


Potato, salt, flour, olive oil, jackfruit, nori sheets, onion, capers, breadcrumbs, lager beer (water, barley malt, rice, hops) and parsley.
Suitable for vegans – contains gluten and barley.
